One of the most talked about indie horror films of the year.. A super intense and high tension ghost story that is totally weird, intense and highly visually stunning. It has a great pace, direction, cast and effects. The quantum physics part is interesting, it's a lot of fun to watch, the film is worth a try, and the ending was executed very well! It's not a horror movie, it's something else. It's a great moody thriller, quirkiest kind of ghost-story I've ever seen (not even the poltergeist story). It's the most suprisingly ambitious movie from a small indie company. It's a wild ride with a slow pace and a fantastic atmosphere. It doesn't scare you, what it does do to your soul is definitely worth it to see it.
A group of friends go to a cabin in the woods where one of them has had several troubling experiences involving a woman. When they arrive the house seems to mock them as they try to get the woman out. There is a complex plot of sorts which involves the characters being under the law and haunted by a murderous spirit. It does not have the best ending, and can be a bit contrived, but movie has some good moments, including an apparent apparition of the woman haunting the friends.
I am a big fan of the down east style of horror, and Ive been very disappointed by the not-down-east horror films that have been coming out. I just dont like to be scared; I want to be entertained by something gory. Most of the time, you have to beg to be scared, and almost never from what they say. The ending for this one was just plain scary though and the rest of the film was good too...The cast was good, the camera work was ok, and the movie was a slow burner.
The plot concerns the journey of a group of girls who visit an old fort in the middle of nowhere in Scotland to recover a young woman whose boyfriend had recently died. But, while on the journey, they begin to feel her presence lingering around the place. d2c66b5586
