Mobile Task Forces (MTFs) are elite units comprised of personnel drawn from across the Foundation and are mobilized to deal with threats or situations. They are the best the Foundation has to offer. Mobile Task Force Unit Epsilon 11, codenamed \"Nine-Tailed Fox\" is a specialised task force dealing with the Foundations internal security, such as the containment breach occuring in Site [REDACTED]. And as such is the Mobile Task Force deployed to deal with the containment breaches, resulting in the alternate abberation for MTFs ingame, NTF.
The white hand can be found in SCP-012's containment chamber, and SCP-096's containment chamber in the observation room. It allows you to skip SCP-457's containment chamber, the long staircases in the Large Testing Chamber in Heavy Containment Zone, and also to open an empty room in SCP-079's containment chamber. Can be turned into a Black Severed Hand by putting it into SCP-914 on 1:1.
A pair of green / regular Night Vision Goggles can be found in Storage Area 6, where SCP-939 instances inhabit, in SCP-966's containment chamber, or in one of the many server rooms that can be found in the Entrance Zone portion of the facility. It increases all visibility when worn, and SCP-966 instances can be now be seen, but requires one 9V battery to function. Night vision goggles found in Storage Area 6 only have 4 bars of power left when first picked up, and night vision goggles found in SCP-966's containment chamber are dead, requiring a 9v battery to power. Wearing the green NVG too close to SCP-895 will cause it to jumpscare the player and kill them, if the player is not protected by SCP-714, or other items that grant protection from SCP-895.
SCRAMBLE Gear are a pair of goggles that will prevent the player from viewing SCP-096's face and enraging it. It can be obtained by spawning as an MTF operative, or found in SCP-096's containment chamber. Upon wearing, the gear will emit a screechy noise, make the player's view dark gray. When attempting to view SCP-096's face, the gear will overlay its face with a black box. Unlike other electronical equipment and similar to 18V Radio Transceiver, the SCRAMBLE Gear requires an 18V Battery to power. The goggles will have 4 bars of power left if obtained via SCP-096's containment chamber, and SCRAMBLE Gear cannot resist the effects of SCP-895 and will kill the player if unprotected. Despite behaving similarly, and looking identical to night vision goggles, it darkens the players vision, and decreases view distance fog, damaging visibility, therefore should be worn only when necessary. It is one of few items in the game that require an 18V battery.
The hazmat suit can be located and obtained in SCP-008's containment chamber. It behaves identically to the gas mask, but when equipped, items in your inventory cannot be used until the hazmat suit is removed. When wearing the hazmat suit, it grants protection to SCP-008, SCP-049 and SCP-457. If the player has a ballistic vest equipped, the player must unequip the vest in order to equip the hazmat suit. Strangely, headwear such as NVGs, gas masks, and helmets can be worn if equipped before putting on the hazmat suit.
A regular first aid kit can be found, most notably, in SCP-914's containment chamber and sometimes in the Archive Room, the Elevator Shaft, Medical Bay and O5 Council office, and many other locations. A regular first aid kit can also be obtained by spawning in as a Doctor. The regular first aid kit takes approximately 6 seconds to heal, and for only 5 health. If the player is in critical condition, specifically below 50 HP or lower, the player's blood loss will not be stopped and they will not be healed.
SCP-178 was a pair of stereoscopic 3D glasses that, when worn, would made the wearer see hostile humanoid entities resembling cicadas and jumping spiders. It was added to the game in v1.1 before being removed in v1.3.10. The item was removed for a few reasons, those being that it was deemed useless compared to other SCPs, it basically served a way for players to kill themselves thinking it was an important item, and that its containment chamber had problems spawning due to the spawning algorithm, which made user \"achievement runs\" difficult to accomplish.
A model and containment room was created for SCP-689 in the hope of better utilizing the eye mechanics in the game. It was intended that whenever the player would made eye contact with SCP-689, they would have to maintain it. Should they take their eyes off SCP-689, it would instantly kill them. Regalis (while in favor of better use of the eye mechanics) deemed SCP-689 \"too powerful and over-the-top\", and decided not to include the SCP in the game. 153554b96e
